Dr. Keith Immerkar 

A WCVM graduate of 1997, Keith joined the practice in 2003. His main focus is bovine reproductive health. Outside of practice he enjoys his beef cows, scuba diving, and long distance running. Keith resides on a farm outside of Swan River with his wife and two kids.

Dr. Lana Tokar

Lana graduated from WCVM in 2005 and joined the practice in 2010. She focuses on small animal medicine and surgery.  Her mission is to bring awareness that oral health is an important part of a healthy body and that every patient deserves a pain free mouth. She is a member of The Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry.  She lives in the Swan River area where she's raising her two kids. 

Dr. Matt Strate

Matt graduated from WCVM in 2016 and joined our practice in May, that year. He enjoys outdoor sporting such as fishing, hunting, golf and archery. He works with both our large animal patients and our small animal patients. He resides in Swan River with his family. 

Dr. Erika Brandson

Erika graduated in 2019 from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. She was born and raised in Swan River, moved away for school and has come back to the valley where she lives with her husband.  

Kaitlin Branconnier

Kaitlin has been with us since 2011. She assists the Veterinarians and provides care for all of our patients. She is known for her bright personality and friendly attitude. She resides in Swan River with her much loved dogs. She enjoys golfing and fishing. 

Kasy Richard, RVT

Kasy is a RVT that has been with us since 2021. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Red River College in 2021 and started with us shortly after. She is originally from The Pas but is putting roots down in Bowsman. She enjoys riding her horses and horse show events as well as hunting and fishing.

Mike Smith

Mike has been with us since 2016. He helps assist the veterinarians with large animals. He is originally from Killarney, MB and moved to Swan River in 2003 with his wife. He enjoys golf, hockey, hunting and fishing. 

Lynne Fullerton

Lynne has been a receptionist with us for many, many years. She works with us part time and keeps us in check. She is originally from the Winnipeg area but moved to Swan River where she settled down with her family. She enjoys kayaking at the lake with her family as well as hanging out with the cats and dogs.

Lisa Scales

Lisa has been with us since 2018. She works part time at our reception desk. She's originally from Kitchener, Ontario and moved to Swan River in 2009 with her husband. She is big into animal rescue and promoting animal welfare. She enjoys spending time with her cats and dogs as well as working with the local animal rescue. 

Stephanie Wigley

Stephanie has been with us since 2020. She is one of the first smiling faces you see at our reception desk. She was born and raised in Swan River. She attended post secondary education in Nova Scotia before returning to Swan River where she resides with her husband and their cats and dogs. She enjoys reading, baking and helping out with the local animal rescue. 

Taylor Lambert

Taylor has been with us since 2021. She is another smiling face you see at our reception desk. She is originally from Saskatoon and moved to Swan River in 2007. She lives in Bowsman with her family. She enjoys camping with her family and hunting.
